100 burpees and a 4k run.


Today was exhausting. WOD was pyramid sets of burpees and running. The sum of which is described in th title of this post. I completed the workout in 36 mins. And I have double vision. Maybe that's due to the fact that I smoked 700 calories, which is the quoted rate for an hour of flat out slipping with a speed rope, just to put things into perspective. The objective of this type of workout is to target directly the metabolic systems responsible for providing energy to ones body. This results in improved recovery and capacity for work. It also tests your will because heaven help me this was a bitch to finish.
